EURIE annual summit features an exhibition and a conference to expand the knowledge, networks and collaboration opportunities for the participants.

EURIE is endorsed and supported by EURAS, Eurasian Universities Union. Launched in 2008, EURAS is the union of Eurasian higher education institutions. EURAS is a non-profit international association, promoting cooperation among 95 universities from all around Europe, Asia and the Middle East and working for the advancement of educational standards in the Eurasian region. EURAS connects higher education institutions belonging to different geo-political and cultural backgrounds and seeks ways to enhance their dialogue and exchange of best practices. Other collaborative partners of EURIE are Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey and its Higher Education Business Council.

Conference Program 2018


Panels (call for proposals)
Submit your panel and paper proposals now on the following conference subthemes:
  • • New patterns and trends in student and staff mobility
  • • Renewed emphasis on international learning
  • • New regions, new players in international education
  • • New technologies for higher education

We invite colleagues to submit proposals for a "complete panel" or an "individual presentation".

A complete panel includes one chair and two speakers and lasts 45 minutes. A panel proposal should be submitted only once by either the chair or one of the speakers, with the consent of all named to participate. Panel submissions which show regional or country diversity on a given topic are preferred.

We invite colleagues to submit proposals for a "complete panel" or an "individual presentation".

Proposals for individual presentations connected to one of the conference subthemes are also welcome. The conference committee will combine related presentations to form a panel and assign a chair.

Conference workshops are designed for the professional development of international office staff. Trainers are experienced peers who introduce contextual information and best practices in a specific area of international education.
